A new dawn. 🍄🌄

What started as an idea, a grow kit, and a few conversations with local chefs is becoming something much bigger.

Today, we’re standing inside what will become the next home of Pax Farms — a space built to grow more mushrooms, create more opportunities, and bring even more fresh, local food to the Gunnison Valley.

There’s still a lot of work ahead. But looking at these plans, standing in this space, and seeing the pieces come together… it feels like a new dawn for Pax Farms.

And this moment isn’t ours alone.

It belongs to every person who has shared an idea, bought a pound of mushrooms, introduced us to a chef, opened a door, hauled equipment, answered a question, offered advice, invested time, or simply believed in what we’re building.

We’re incredibly grateful. ❤️

A LITTLE PIVOT 🍄🏔️

Sometimes building a farm means slowing down before you can speed up.

We’re pushing back the start of our Founders Weekly Mushroom CSA to October 21st.

We’re in the middle of building out our new growing space, and honestly… it’s pretty exciting to watch this thing come together. 🍄🏡

But we want to do it right.

We could rush the process and get mushrooms out the door, but that’s not what we want for our Founders. We want to give you amazing, fresh, local mushrooms every single week — and we want the new space to be ready to help us do exactly that.

So we’re taking an extra week to get things dialed in.

The upside? There’s now a little more time to jump into the Founders CSA. We’re getting close to our cap, though, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now’s the time. 🍄

10 weeks. 10 pounds of mushrooms. Grown right here in the Gunnison Valley.

Blue Oyster. Lion’s Mane. Pioppini. Black Pearl. And whatever else is thriving that week.

To everyone who signed up early and believed in what we’re building — thank you. ❤️

This farm exists because of the people who have supported us, bought our mushrooms, connected us with chefs, opened doors, and encouraged us to keep going.

We’re building something special here.

And we can’t wait to share it with you.

CSA starts October 21st. 🍄

Let’s grow together. 🏔️🍄

This is what’s growing for you. 🍄

No middleman, no grocery store — just you and the farm.

Starting this October, Founders CSA members get one pound of fresh, mixed mushrooms every week through the end of the year. (12 weeks) Blue Oyster, Lion’s Mane, Pioppini, Black Pearl — whatever’s thriving that week comes straight to you.

$18/lb, locked in for as long as you stay a member. This is genuinely the best rate we’ll ever offer, and it’s our way of saying thank you to the people who back this farm early.

Spots are limited and filling quickly — we’re a small operation and want every member to get the quality and consistency we’d want ourselves.

Want in? DM your name and email and we’ll add you to the list.
